Sisters return to sing here Friday night

The Vogts sisters from Erie will return to perform at 7 p.m. Friday at the Heritage Park Pavilion as part of the Friday Night Concert Series.

Maggie and Abbey Vogts were the featured act for the first show of the season June 22 and have performed as part of the series in past years and been popular with the regular crowd.

Event organizer Ralph Carlson said he has heard many positive comments about the sisters' music and has received several requests to have them return.

The young musicians have a new website, www.vogtssisters.com.

The Friday concert will also include another returning favorite at the pavilion, vocalist and guitarist David Prickett, of Deerfield, Mo.

"I am really pleased to be able to get this combination of talent for this show," Carlson said. "We will also hear from other gazebo regular friends and performers."

Attendees are reminded to bring lawn chairs as seating is not provided at the event.

The Friday Night Concert Series is sponsored by the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce Downtown Division. The show is free and open to the public.
