Bronson OES discusses float

Bronson OES Culture Club met May 1 at the home of Geri Reeder. President Julia Ann Rhoton opened with the thought, "There absolutely is no substitute for preparation."

Retta Smith led the club collect and Betty Camac, the flag salute. Secretary Erma Eastwood read the April minutes and Treasurer Geri Reeder gave her report.

The club float was discussed. We will work on it May 24.

The club will again do the ring toss for pop. The members will make pies for the library. President Julia Ann Rhoton will select the place for the June meeting.

Erma Eastwood told about the 50th anniversary of "To Kill a Mockingbird," by Nelle Harper Lee.

The eight members enjoyed banana splits served by Geri Reeder. The president will let members know where the club will meet in June.
