Elks slate fishing derby

The annual Elks Lodge Fishing Derby is set for Saturday, May 5, at Fort Scott Community College Lake.

Registration will be at 9 a.m. and fishing from 10 a.m.- noon. Kids ages 2-15 can participate and all participants will win a prize.

Lunch will be served after fishing to the kids and their families. The VFW Mens Auxiliary is also part of event.
