Freeda and Bernard Brady -- 60 years

Bernard and Freeda Brady will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on April 6, 2012. Barney and Freeda were married April 6, 1952, in Fort Scott, Kan.

Their six children and other family members are helping them celebrate April 1 with a carry-in dinner at La Harbara Heights Community Building in La Cygne.

Their children are Michael Brady of Stockton, Mo.; Kathy Reed and Joe of Olathe; Karen Coats and Michael of Lincoln, Neb.; Bernie Brady and Sherry of Fort Scott; Rose Snider and Rusty of Richmond; and Patrick Brady and Kimberly of La Cygne. There are 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
