BEVERLY JEAN "BEGIE" HALL

Beverly Jean "Begie" Hall, 84, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at the Johnson County Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, Kan.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Heartland SPCA, 9827 W. 67th, Merriam, Kan., 66203.

Beverly was born March 19, 1927, to Ruby and Rex Gill. She grew up and graduated from high school in Fort Scott, Kan. She later graduated from KU (University of Kansas) in 1949 and married Chandler Hall in 1952; he preceded her in death in 1997.

Beverly was a member of Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church. Begie was an avid dog lover, loved playing bridge with her friends, and enjoyed music, sports and politics.

She was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 1974 and enjoyed the many friendships she developed in the program.
