FSCC changes early baseball schedule

The extremely-cold weather scheduled for this weekend has forced Fort Scott Community College's baseball team to postpone the doubleheaders against Southeast Nebraska that were scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.

According the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference website, Fort Scott will play Southeast Nebraska next weekend along with scheduled opponent North Central Missouri. The schedule will work this way, weather permitting:

* - Friday, Feb. 17: Fort Scott vs. Southeast Nebraska at 1 p.m.; North Central Missouri vs. Fort Scott at 7 p.m.

* - Saturday, Feb. 18: Fort Scott vs. Southeast Nebraska at 1 p.m.; North Central Missouri vs. Fort Scott at 6 p.m.

* - Sunday, Feb. 19: Fort Scott vs. Southeast Nebraska at noon; North Central Missouri vs. Fort Scott at 6 p.m.
