Robert Douglas "Doug" Ingram, age 51, a resident of rural Bronson, Kan., died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at his home. He was born May 6, 1960, in Lebanon, Ky., the son of Robert Ingram and Ada White Ingram. He had been a dairy farmer.

Survivors include a son, Jared Ingram and wife, Jere, Bardstown, Ky., and a sister, Jada Fuhrman and husband, Dave, Bronson, Kan.

Also surviving are two grandchildren, Trey Scott Ingram and Violet Ann Ingram, a nephew Dalton Fuhrman and a niece, Cassidy Fuhrman. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Deborah Ingram.

There was cremation. Rev. Marty DeWitt will conduct a memorial service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at First Missionary Baptist Church in Uniontown, Kansas.

Private burial will follow in the Bronson Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott. Words of remembrance may be submitted to the online guestbook at cheneywitt.com.
