Power outage

A lightning strike to an electrical pole sparked an approximately hour-long power outage in Nevada on Friday. KCP&L Spokeswoman Kelli Hindes said about 90 customers were affected. Power went out about 3:45 and came back on about 5 p.m. Inclement weather during Friday's rain storm caused the outage. Crews were working as quickly as possible to get it back on, Hindes said.
