Fulton Community Center members plan chili/soup supper, silent auction

The Fulton Community Center members met Dec. 15, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Dean and Fern Brown's home. Fern called the meeting to order. Virginia read the roll call; eight members were present. Minutes were read and approved. Janice gave the treasurer's report and Frances gave reservations.

In business that was conducted, the gym will be closed this winter.

A chili and vegetable soup dinner with cake and silent auction will be held Sunday, Feb. 5 at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the community center.

Election of officers was held. Those elected were Fern Brown, president; Harv Waltmire, vice president; Janice Waltmire, treasurer; Virginia Durbin, secretary; and Frances Marsh, reservations.

The meeting was adjourned. The next meeting will be Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. at the Fulton Community Center.
