Eight piano students of Jennie Wood performed a piano recital Monday eveing before Christmas at the home of their teacher, Jennie and husband Ken Wood, Fort Scott. An enjoyable variety of 30 musical numbers were played, including Christmas carols, by all students. Ice cream sundaes, cookies, hot cider, coffee and punch were served to the 40 in attendance. Guest performers were Christa, Hunter and Callie Holt.

"Many thanks to each of my students," Wood said. "I'm so thankful for your dedication to improving your playing and performance skills. Thank you to each and every one who attended and helped."
