City, county offices closed for holiday

Fort Scott's city offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, in observance of the New Year's holiday.

The offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012. The city's tree and brush dump site will also be closed on Saturday, Dec. 31.

The Bourbon County transfer station will be closed Saturday, Dec. 31, and the courthouse and transfer station will be closed Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, for New Year's.
