Marshall Douglas Walker, 72, of Mound City, Kan., died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, at the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan.

Per Marshall's wishes, he was cremated, and a memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at the Mound City United Methodist Church.
