Woods receives master's in leadership development

On Saturday, Dec. 17, Jordan C. Woods will receive his master's degree in leadership development from Pittsburg State University. Woods is graduating with honors and a 4.0 grade point average in his master's degree courses.

Woods is the son of Joyce E. Woods, Fort Scott. He is a graduate of Fort Scott High School class of 2005 and attended Fort Scott Community College before transferring to PSU. While working on his master's degree, Woods was a para educator at Fort Scott High School and assistant basketball coach. He now teaches computer classes at Elm Acres in Pittsburg and is head coach of the Pittsburg High School junior varsity basketball team.
