Jayhawks sweep Blu-Jays in LCT

MOUND CITY -- Jayhawk-Linn's teams swept Pleasanton on the opening night of the round-robin Linn County Tournament here Tuesday night.

Jayhawk-Linn's boys took a 53-46 victory. Austin Coleman led the Jayhawks (1-0) with 20 points while Jake Rowe added 10. Preston Coffman led Pleasanton (0-1) with 19 points.

Jayhawk-Linn girls (1-0) took a 31-21 win as Baylea White scored 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Autumn Secrest led Pleasanton (0-1) with 11 points.

Tournament play resumes Thursday night and concludes Friday.
