DALE ROBERTS OVERCASH

Dale Roberts Overcash, 43, a resident of Bronson, Kan., died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo.

He was born Dec. 28, 1967, in Hialeah, Fla., the son of Hoyt Overcash and Mary Gregory Overcash.

He had worked in the workshop at Tri-Valley Developmental Center in Fort Scott. Dale enjoyed riding his bicycle and decorating for the holidays.

Survivors include three brothers, Rick Overcash, Cynthia, Ky., Earnest Overcash, Sunrise, Fla., and Larry Overcash, Kingston, Ga.; three sisters, Connie Jacks, Orlando, Fla., Nancy Overcash, Hialeah, Fla., and Donna Weyant, Bronson, who provided for his care.

Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

There was cremation. Private family burial will take place at a later date in the Park Hill Cemetery, Columbus, Ga.

Services are under direction of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott, Kan.
