Remembering 9/11

A U.S. Marine bows his head during Saturday's remembrance ceremony for the heroes and victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, along with the various Prisoners of War and those missing in action. The ceremony was organized by the VFW Post 1165 Ladies Auxiliary in conjunction with Fort Scott Airport Day. The occasion concluded with a balloon release. (Michael Pommier/Tribune)
