FSHS photo days scheduled

Fort Scott High School fall sports photos will be taken on August 23. All sports and related activities will have their pictures taken on the same day this year.

Band will be the first for photos. Members need to be a Frary Field at 8:30 a.m. The drill team photos will be next at 8:50 at Frary Field.

Girls' golf photos will be taken at the golf course at 3:30 p.m. while girls' tennis pics will be taken at the same time at the high school courts. At 4:15, soccer photos will be taken at Ellis Park and cross-country will be taken at the high school.

Volleyball photos will be taken at 5 p.m. at the FSHS gymnasium with cheerleader pics taken at Frary Field at the same time. Dance team photos are scheduled for the high school at 5:45. Football photos will be taken at Frary Field at 6:30.

Sports physicals will be made available to those who which to compete in USD 234 athletic programs during the 2011-12 school year at Mercy Physicians Group, 403 Woodland Hills Blvd., on August 10. No appointment is necessary.

A fall sports parent meeting will be held at Fort Scott High School at 6 p.m. on August 11.

And finally, the first day of fall sports practices will be August 15, per Kansas State High School Activities Association rules.
