Claytons celebrate 65 years

JOHN AND BETTY LOU CLAYTON

John and Betty Lou Clayton will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniverary on June 22 with a card shower.

John Clayton and Betty Lou Edgar were married June 22, 1946, at the First Baptist Church Parsonage wth Reverend Johnson officiating.

John retired from USD 234 and Betty retired from Bramores of Pleasanton.

They have two children, Jim and Janet Clayton, Holton, and Hubert and Sarah Kettler, Lawrence; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

They enjoy their yard, traveling and spending time with their family and friends. They will celebrate with a family dinner at their daughter's home. Cards may be sent to the couple at 814 E. 12th, Fort Scott, Kan., 66701.
