Uniontown schedules city-wide garage sale this Saturday

The Uniontown City-Wide Garage Sale will be held on Saturday, May 7, beginning at 7 a.m. Relay for Life will be serving a biscuit and gravy breakfast, as well as having garage sale items at the Uniontown Community Building.

The Uniontown Garden Club will be selling potted plants and flowers in front of Union State Bank. Their vast variety of plants and flowers sell out quickly, so come early.

A list of local participants will be posted on the community bulletin board. Anyone wishing to have their sale listed may contact Uniontown City Hall at (620) 756-4742.

The city would also like to announce its yearly free dumpster service made available to city residents for a spring clean up The dates for the dumpster service will be June 3, 4 and 5. The large dumpsters will be at the same location they have been for the past several years, which is the railroad right-of-way area in Uniontown.
