Citywide garage sale coming up

The Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced that the 2011 Spring Citywide Garage Sale will start at 7 a.m. Saturday, April 16.

The chamber is currently accepting entries for garage sale listings. Those interested may sign their garage sale up for inclusion by stopping by the chamber office, 231 E. Wall, or at the Country Cupboard, 12 N. Main St. The deadline to enter is Wednesday, April 13. There will be a $10 charge for each listing.

The Citywide Garage Sale will be listed in local and surrounding area newspapers. Maps will be available at the chamber office and the Country Cupboard on Friday, April 15. For more information, contact the chamber at (620) 223-3566, or by email-mchamberoffice@fortscott.com.
