Music department sets fundraiser

The Fort Scott High School Music Department, including the band, orchestra and choirs, will conduct a potato feed fundraiser from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday in the FSHS commons area, 1005 S. Main St. The meal includes a big baked potato with toppings, dessert and a drink for $5.

Proceeds will support the music department's activities in 2011. The event is open to the public.

In an e-mail, USD 234 Director of Bands James Fox said he and other music department faculty, including choir director Pat Harry and orchestra director Cody Toll, "hope you will bring your appetites, your family and anyone else around and come eat some good food for a good cause."
