Shumaker -- 70 years

Harold and Lucille Shumaker, of Nevada, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Jan. 1, 2011, with a reception at the Moore-Few Community Room, from 2 to 4 p.m., New Year's Day. Open to friends and family, the omission of gifts is requested; however, the family notes that cards would be welcomed.

The Shumakers are parents of five children and their spouses: Leon and Margaret Shumaker, Henry and Polly Shumaker, Ralph and Sandi Shumaker, Raymond Shumaker, and May and Don Hutchison; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
