FSCC men split pair on road
A two-game road swing saw Fort Scott Community College's men win their first game of the season Monday night and fall by nearly 50 points Tuesday night.
Greyhound men (1-12) picked up a 68-62 victory at Division II North Central Missouri (3-5) as Robert Mason scored 26 points on 10-of-16 field-goal shooting. Gary Floyd and Menas Stephens scored 12 each and Alex Barner added 11. Fort Scott made half of its 48 field-goal attempts.
Tuesday, Division I State Fair routed the Greyhounds, 87-40, as the Roadrunners (10-2) forced 33 turnovers.
No Greyhound reached double figures in scoring as Mason led with 9 points. The 'Hounds shot only 38 percent from the floor on 15 of 40.
