Mercy Health Center Auxiliary received the Gold Award of Excellence at the Hospital Auxiliaries of Kansas Annual Convention, Nov. 10-12 in Topeka. The award is given to auxiliaries that complete 21 designated requirements during the reporting period from Sept. 1 -- Aug. 31. These requirements include submitting various forms and reports; involvement in health-related community service; promoting visibility of the auxiliary in the community; attending the previous convention; special projects and awarding health career scholarships. Representing Fort Scott were: Reta Baker, Mercy president and CEO, Nancy Pruitt, Mercy administrative/auxiliary liaison, Alice Allen, Cliff and Nancy Patterson. Pictured (left to right) are B.
