Blu-Jays go 1-2 at Colgan Tournament

PITTSBURG -- Pleasanton's volleyball won 1 of 3 matches at the Colgan Tournament here Saturday.

The Blu-Jays lost to Liberal (Mo.) 25-7, 25-13; defeated Colgan 25-19; 25-17; and lost to Baxter Springs, 25-14, 25-23.

According to Pleasanton coach Danny Looney, this was the first time a Blu-Jay girls' team has defeated Colgan in any sport in 10 years. Megan Lowe had 10 kills in that match.

Pleasanton will take part in the Humboldt Tournament Saturday.
