C.E.R.T. competes in national powerlifting championship

DUBUQUE, Iowa -- The Bourbon County C.E.R.T. power team competed in the United Powerlifting Association National Championship Competition here July 30. Team members Tom Davis, Logan Probasco and Jimmy Nichols received national championship awards, each finishing first in their respective classes. Each first-place lifter also set a new national record.

The team would also like to announce that it si seeking new members. The team was unable to enter the team competition because it takes a minimum 10 lifters.
