Crawford County Sheriff investigates Pittsburg homicide

PITTSBURG -- The Crawford County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide that occurred Monday in rural Pittsburg, in the vicinity of 943 S. 190th St. At approximately 7:30 p.m., deputies found the body of a male victim. The Crawford County Coroner responded to the scene and the body was transported to Topeka for an autopsy.

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office, Pittsburg Police Department, Kansas Highway Patrol, and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are all involved in the investigation.
