GIER -- Josh and Jamie Gier, Redfield, and big brother Josiah David Gier, are proud to announce the birth of their son and brother, Jeremiah Daniel Gier.

Jeremiah was born at 10:23 a.m., Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott.

He weighed 7 pounds, 15 1/2 ounces at birth.

Maternal grandparents are Jim and Anne Overton, Meeker, Colo.

Maternal great-grandparents are Rob and Dee Copeland, Canon City, Colo.

Paternal grandparents are Roger and Linda Gier, Uniontown.

Paternal great-grandmothers are Geneva Gier, Girard; and Ruth Townsley, Fort Scott.

Paternal great-great grandmother is Laura Graham, Uniontown.
