PEGGY KATHLEEN "KATHY" MILLARD

Peggy Kathleen (Kathy) Millard was born to Cleta Fern Leonard Howell on Sept. 8, 1950, in Amoret, Mo.

She attended area schools and graduated from Pleasanton High School.

Kathy was united in marriage to Delbert Millard on Aug. 16, 1992.

In healthier years, Kathy worked in the health care field and volunteered at the Liberty Worship Academy. She was a member of the Liberty Worship Center in Pleasanton.

Kathy had lived at the Fort Scott Manor with her husband, Delbert, for the past three years, where she was a continual "light" to the other residents and staff.

Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Cleta Fern, a brother, Billy Michael, and a sister, Sarah Mae.

She is survived by her husband, Delbert, of their home, and two sisters, Melva Sue and Nita Louise, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Kathy peacefully met her Lord, Jesus, face-to-face at 8:20 a.m., Sunday, June 6, 2010.

A memorial service was held for Kathy on Wednesday, June 9, at Liberty Worship Center.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are being accepted to help with expenses. They may be left at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Pleasanton.
