MAX EDSEL LEEK

Max Edsel Leek passed away Dec. 8, 2009, at his home in Pueblo, Colo.

Max was born Sept. 12, 1923, near Bronson, Kan., to the union of Ross Leek and Hazel West Leek, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne, of Pueblo, Colo.; one brother, Wayne Leek, of Fort Scott; three sisters: Winnie Daly and husband Bob, of Fort Scott; Wanda Giddens and husband Ike, of Tulsa, Okl.a.; Fleeta Antrim and husband Mel, of Fort Scott.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Hollis Leek.

Graveside services for Max Leek will be at 11 a.m., Friday, May 7, 2010 at the U.S. National Cemetery, No. 1, Fort Scott.

Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the Olson-Frary-Burkhart Post 1165, Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Detail.
