EARL "TINKER" TOTMAN

Earl "Tinker" Totman, 81, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 at the K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City.

He was born on March 13, 1928 in Arcadia, the son of Lester and Beulah Moss Totman.

Earl was raised in Arcadia and had lived in southeast Kansas before moving to Osage City in 1954, where he has lived since.

Earl worked for Goodyear and retired after 35 years of service.

He had served with the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952 in Korea and Japan.

He attended the Flint Hills Baptist Church and the Osage County Senior Citizens Center in Osage City.

On March 15, 1953 Earl was united in marriage to Donna Bean in Arcadia.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Beulah and his natural mother, Eleanor Scratcher in 1934, a brother, Mirrel Totman, a sister, Louella Hines and a grandson, Jason Burke.

Earl is survived by his wife Donna of the home, his four sons, Ed (Ciss) of Osage City, Rick (Brenda) of Osage City, Rodney (Carolyn) of Vassar, Randy of Osage City, two daughters, Debi Ritz (Ralph) of Osage City and Susie Peimann (David) of Vassar, a sister, Inez Dugger of Osage City, 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Earl will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010 at the Flint Hills Baptist Church in Osage City.

Earl will lie in state from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at the church where the family will receive friends from 6 -8 p.m.

Private family burial will take place.
