Nevada moves to Class 3
The Missouri State High School Activities Association released the new class and district assignments for the 2010 football season Friday morning.
Thanks to the addition of football at a number of smaller high schools around the state, MSHSAA has re-evaluated class sizes and made a number of changes to class and district assignments around the state. Due to the new limits that have been given to class sizes, Nevada High School will be moving from Class 4 to Class 3 for the 2010 season.
Joining Nevada next year in Class 3 District 12 will be Clinton, Holden and Pleasant Hill High Schools. The full schedule for the 2010 season for the Tigers has been released as well and is as follows:
Jamboree: At Carl Junction (Nevada, Carl Junction, Carthage, Monett)
Week 1: At Warrensburg
Week 2: At Seneca
Week 3: Vs. East Newton
Week 4: At Springfield Central
Week 5: Vs. El Dorado Springs
Week 6: Vs. Westport (KCMO)
Week 7: At McDonald County
Week 8: Vs. Pleasant Hill
Week 9: At Clinton
Week 10: Vs. Holden
