DONALD GENE WILLIAMS

Donald Gene Williams, was born July 21, 1933 in Fulton, Kan., and peacefully left this world at 2 p.m. Oct. 3, 2009, at the Shady Oaks Healthcare Center in Thayer, Mo, at the age of 76.

Survivors include: long time companion Judy McKee of Thayer, Mo; seven siblings: LaVaughn Peak, Phyllis Ladd, Art Williams, Jr., Mary Hazelwood, Harold Williams, Pat Williams, Dennis Williams; and he was an uncle to over 100 nieces and nephews in four different generations.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur J. and Ethel (Wurtz) Williams; and his seven siblings, Geneveve Williams, Carlton Williams, Evelyn Nevielle, Albert Williams, Roy Williams, Geraldine Williams, Everett Lee Williams.

Donald was a 1954 graduate of Fulton High School. He lived in the Kansas City, Mo., area most of his adult life.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at the West Liberty Cemetery near Fulton, Kan.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, Mo.
