FSCC football aiding Beacon with pre-game food drive

The Fort Scott Community College football team will sponsor its second annual community food drive to help The Beacon Saturday. The Beacon is a non-profitable community assistance agency and food pantry, located at 526 E. 6th Street, that helps low-income families in the Fort Scott and Bourbon County area.

Greyhound football supporters are urged to bring non-perishable food items to Frary Field before the Saturday's football game between the Greyhounds and Hutchinson Community College. Game time is 1 p.m. Come out and help support the community and the 'Hounds.
