Auditions for FSCC's 'Our Town' held Oct. 1

Auditions for "Our Town," this year's fall production at Fort Scott Community College, are scheduled to take place from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1. Auditions, which are open to the public, will take place in the theatre of the Danny and Willa Ellis Family Fine Arts Center on the FSCC campus, 2108 S. Horton St. "Our Town" is a three-act play written by Thornton Wilder. The play explains how change is starting to affect a New England town in the 20th century. Wilder won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for the play. Performances of the play will take place at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12-14, and at 2 p.m. Nov. 15.
