CLARA E. CROPP

Clara E. Cropp, age 91, former resident of Bronson, Kansas, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, at the Moran Manor Nursing Home in Moran, Kansas.

She was born August 13, 1918, in Eve, Mo., the daughter of Rhad Dunn and Nellie Ritter Dunn.

She first married Harold "Frog" Robinson who preceded her in death.

She married John Cropp who died in 1985.

Clara was one of the first women barbers in Kansas. She barbered in Bronson for many years.

She was the last of nine children.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews including those of this area, Bill Dunn of Fort Scott, Jim Romig, Iola, Kan., Butch Romig and Ronnie Romig, Garnett, Kansas, and Jack and Margaret Sherrer, Prairie Village, Kan.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Bronson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel.
