Area residents who want to be prepared in an emergency situation will have the opportunity to receive training that will make them invaluable during a medical crisis.

According to a press release from the Bourbon County Chapter of the American Red Cross, the agency will be offering an adult CPR class for area residents at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16. In addition, residents can attend a standard first aid class at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 18. Both classes will be conducted at the local office located at 116 S. Main St.
