Heritage Park hosts concert Friday night

The Friday night concert at the Heritage Park Pavilion will feature music performed by area musicians Floyd Feezell, Charlotte Eichelberger, John Stubenrausch on tuba and guitar, Steve Sweyko on guitar and vocals, Ray O'Dell on vocals and guitar, and LaDonia Carlson who plays fingerstyle guitar and sings lead and harmony parts on various songs. Local musicians Don and Mim Carlson will accompany LaDonia on Friday. LaDonia has performed on stage since childhood, and learned how to sing from her performing parents and relatives. She has also received music tutelage from numerous musicians in the folk, bluegrass, country and blues traditions. She is well known among such performers in Kansas City and the surrounding area, as well as nationally. LaDonia is also a graphic artist and Web site designer. She lives in Blue Springs, Mo. The concert will take place at 7 p.m. Friday at the Heritage Park Pavilion near the corner of First and Main streets.
