SHELLY LOWRY

Shelly Lynn Lowry, 45, of Chanute, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at her home.

Shelly was born in Fort Scott, Kansas on November 19, 1963, the daughter of Larry Dean and Vivian Ann (Nichols) Bloesser. She graduated from Fort Scott High School.

She was united in marriage to Harry Randall Lowry Jr. on August 21, 1982. He survives of the home.

She worked as a clerk/cashier at G&W Foods.

Shelly is survived by her mother, Vivian Bloesser of Richards, Mo.; her husband, Harry Lowry Jr. of Chanute; children, Samantha Sevart and her husband Jim of Chanute, Brittani Lowry of Humboldt, and Kelcey Lowry of Overland Park; two grandchildren, Rhylee Sevart and Andie Sevart; a sister, Carmen Thrasher of McCloud, OK; nieces, Kaleena and Jaimie Thrasher; a nephew, Vincent Hill; and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Bloesser; and a niece Amanda Hill.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel.

Memorials in her name may be made to Charity of the Donor's Choice and may be left with the funeral home.
