'Hounds eliminated by Butler, 74-65

EL DORADO -- Fort Scott Community College's men lost to Butler, 74-65, here Wed-nesday night in the first round of the Region VI Tournament.

Caleb Walker scored 27 points for the Grizzlies (23-8) as he made 10 of 12 shots from the field and seven of eight at the free-throw line. Maurice Colter added 12 points for Butler.

Kurklin Bohanon led Fort Scott (11-20) with 18 points. Bryce Kemp, Brandon Kinnie and Matt Leal each had 11.

The Greyhounds lost despite shooting 50 percent from the field. However, they committed 22 turnovers and were outrebounded, 41-30.
