Uniontown sweeps Altoona-Midway

UNIONTOWN -- Uniontown's basketball teams swept Altoona-Midway here Tuesday night in Three Rivers League play.

Uniontown's girls (4-2 TRL, 6-11 overall) won 46-22 as Jacy Ermel scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Breanna Esslinger added eight points for the Eagles.

Uniontown boys (3-3, 8-9) took a 55-30 win as Travis Aikins scored 20 points. Drew Johnson added 12 and Ben Dixon finished with 11.

The Eagles travel to Colony tonight for a league doubleheader with Crest.
