Bronson Culture Club Dec. meeting

The Bronson Culture Club met Dec. 2 at the home of Julia Ann Rhoton for a covered dish luncheon, Erma Eastwood assisted.

President Retta Smith opened the meeting by thanking the hostess'. Ednamarie Jackson led the club collect and Geri Reeder the flag salute. President Retta gave the thought of the day "Joy is the feeling of grinning inside."

Ten members answered roll call with "What do I want for Christmas" and all wished for peace and health.

Secretary Erma read November minutes and Grace Smith gave the treas. report. The flower fund was received.

Pres. Retta gave the program -- The W in Christmas -- the tablecloth, gold wrapping paper and the dime.

Julia Ann received a birthday gift from her pal.

The club ladies baked pies for the Bronson Fire Department Christmas, Dec. 6.

Erma Eastwood played Santa, each member received pal gifts, Pres. Retta gave each member a gift and she received a gift from the club.

Cards were prepared for those in nursing homes and boxes of kleenexes for those in area nursing homes who once lived in Bronson.

The club will recess until March 3.
