Robert Raymond Williams, age 75, a resident of Redfield, Kansas died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at his home.

He was born April 7, 1933, in Carroll County, Ark., the son of Leonard V. Williams and Ida E. McVey Williams.

Robert married Ruth Shafranski on May 8, 1985, at Uniontown, Kan. He was a self employed farmer/ rancher. He enjoyed horses, caring for stray animals, and playing the guitar.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of the home; two sons, Robert A. Williams, Caney, Okla., and Larry J. Williams, Bennington, Okla.; two daughters, Roberta R. McGee, Bokchito, Okla., and Vickie L. Bradley, Bartlesville, Okla.; five step-sons, Keith Smith and Colin Smith, both of Girard, Kan., Randy Smith, Carl Junction, Mo., Brian Smith, Radley, Kan., and Darren Smith, Hepler, Kan.; two step-daughters, Wendy Smith and Toni Stroud, both of Girard, Kansas.

Also surviving are eleven grandchildren; thirteen step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents and eleven brothers and sisters.

Rev. Joel Dunn will conduct graveside services at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 15, in the Woods Cemetery at Redfield.
