'Hound volleyball drops 27th straight

Fort Scott Community College's volleyball team was swept in a non-conference match at Arnold Arena Monday night.

The Greyhounds (0-22) were swept by State Fair (Mo.) by scores of 25-18, 25-10, 25-20.

Fort Scott was within 22-19 late in the third game after an 8-1 run. But State Fair held on to hand the 'Hounds their 27th consecutive loss going back to last season.

The Greyhounds host Independence Wednesday night at 6:30 as they attempt to break the streak.
