Webb City routs Nevada Thursday

The Nevada Lady Tiger tennis team dropped an eventful match against Webb City Thursday.

Whitley Del Rosario had to come from behind to pick up one of Nevada's two individual wins and remain undefeated on the year. Del Rosario came back from a 2-5 deficit to take the win 8-5.

Daven Smith pulled out the Lady Tigers' other individual win as she took her match by a score of 8-6. Nevada's other win came in a doubles match as Del Rosario and Katlyn Short teamed up and pulled off an 8-4 upset.

Webb City ended up coming out on top in the match, winning by an overall score of 6-3.

The Nevada Lady Tigers will now get a three day break before attempting to turn their season around in a match against Mount Vernon on Monday.
