Pro-life speaker to make presentation in Fort Scott

Fort Scott, Kan. -- The founder and leader of the pro-life organization Operation Rescue, Randall Terry, will address event attendees at 7 p.m. on Sunday in the Fort Scott High School Auditorium, 1005 S. Main St., Fort Scott.
According to a press release, Operation Rescue is the largest civil disobedience movement in American history, accumulating more than 70,000 arrests for peaceful protest. Terry has spoken on and debated the abortion issue on college campuses and television and radio show for 25 years. Terry has appeared on "Oprah," "60 Minutes," "20/20" and "Larry King Live." In addition, he has been featured in "The New York Times," "Time," and "Rolling Stone."
