Bronson group offers brunch
Twenty-three seniors met in Bronson at the Methodist Annex for a brunch.
Tables were decorated in red, white and blue, for the occasion. A scrumptious meal of breakfast casseroles and coffee cake was made by hostesses Hope Holoman, Elizabeth Lunberg, Retta Smith and Mary Louise Wilson; these ladies also made muffins, fresh melon, a pizza of fruit, coffee and orange juice.
Birthdays being celebrated in July were Erma Eastwood and Enid Large. Anniversaries are Jerry and Elvis Reeder.
The program was "Fourth of July" by Gene Wilson, and a reading by Retta Smith. Door prizes were given to three lucky people.
The group closed with singing "God Bless America" accompanied on the piano by Hope Holoman.
Next meeting is back to the regular noon time on Aug. 15.
