KING

Jason DeWayne King, age 62, a resident of Redfield, Kan., died Friday, July 11, 2008, at the Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott.
He was born James Edward Duggins, Jr., on August 17, 1945, at Fort Scott, Kansas, the son of James E. Duggins, Sr. and Velma Virginia Fillmore Duggins.
He married Pamela Fuhr on August 6, 1977, at Kansas City, Kansas. She preceded him in death on April 23, 2005.
Jason had been employed as a truck driver and worked primarily for the postal service. He was a Jehovah's Witness.
Survivors include two sons, Matt Duggins, Fulton, Kansas and Steve Duggins, Iola, Kansas; four daughters, Julie Fuhr, Josie Allred, and Brandi King, all of Fort Scott, Kan., and Jennifer Dunlay, Redfield, Kan.
Also surviving are a sister, Mary Moore, Uniontown, Kan.; twelve grandchildren, four step-grandchildren; two nephews and a niece.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2008, at the Cheney Witt Chapel.
