Medicine tip session for seniors to be offered in Fort Scott

"Medicine Tips for Seniors" will be presented to Fort Scott Senior Citizens this spring and summer.

Session One, which covers age-related medicine issues, medication reminder systems, side effects and drug interactions, will be presented at the Calvary Crossing Apartments, 201 West 23rd, Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at 10 a.m. The session will be repeated at the Bourbon County Senior Citizens Potluck Dinner, 26 North Main, 12 p.m., Friday, June 13, 2008.

Session Two topics are over-the-counter products and adult immunizatons. This session will be presented at Calvary Crossing, Wednesday, July 9, at 10 a.m. and at the Bourbon County Senior Citizens, August 8, at 12 p.m.

Mary (Eenie) Fitzpatrick, RN will present the programs which are sponsored by the Southeast Kansas Agency on Aging.

These programs are free and are open to the public. Everone is invited to attend any or all of the sessions.
