4-H members qualify for state fair

Four Bourbon County 4-H members qualified for the Kansas State Fair in seven events at the District 4-H Horse Show at the Parson's State Hospital Arena on July 3.

Holli Zellner received a purple award in showmanship, pleasure, and horsemanship to qualify.

4-H members qualifying as blue ribbon winners were: Cole George in showmanship, trail, and horsemanship; Drew George in showmanship, pleasure, and horsemanship; Elizabeth Meech in showmanship, trail, horsemanship, barrels, poles and flags; and Holli Zellner in trail.

The Kansas State Fair 4-H Horse Show will be September 12-14, in Hutchinson, Kan.
